TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN : Notice is hereby pi veil that the State of Utah has tiled In this ortice a list, No. 8, for the establishment ami maintenance of a Deaf and Dnmb Asylntn, under seetion 12 of the Act of Congress approved July 10, 1891. The follow-infi follow-infi traets, embraced in said list, are in a township town-ship containing mineral claims of record, viz: The east half of the .southwest quarter of Seetion eleven (11), in Township forty-one (41), south, and of Rnu-e thirteen (13), weat, Salt Lalte Base and Meridian. A copy of said list, so far as it relates to said tracts, by descriptive subdivisions, litis been conspicuously posted in this office, for inspection inspec-tion by any person interested, and by the public pub-lic generally. Within the next sixty days following the date of this notice, under departmental instructions of Nov. 27, 1 BOO (23 L. D., 45!)), protests or contests con-tests against the claim of the State to any of the tracts or subdivisions herein described, on the ground that the same is more valuable for mineral than for agricultural purposes, will be received and noted for report to the General Land Office at Washington, D. C. Failure so to protest or contest within the time specified will be considered sufficient evidence of the non-mineral character of said tracts, and the selection thereof . being otherwise free ft om objection, will be recommended for approval, Frank D.
