Show LEl'.ns. Leeds, Utah, July 5, 1900. Mrs. Julia Betimes of Virgin is visiting visit-ing relatives here. The weather has somewhat moderated, moderat-ed, at present the evenings are really chilly. The Misses Minnie Hanson and Sarah Chidester are visiting relatives in St. George. Miss Mattie MeArthur of St. George is visiting her cousin here, Miss Maud McMulliu. Mrs. Juno Chidester has gone to Parowan to spend the remainder of the summer with hcv daughter. Mrs. Lite Mceks. The Misses Lizzie and Ann McMullin have returned home from Cedar city, where they have been attending the Summer School and Teachers Institute. the Fourth of July celebration held here was counted by all a success. The program of the day's amusements was a parade and meeting in the forenoon sports and children's dance in the afiernoou. and a dance for the adults at uight at which a uumber of young folks from Toquerville were present. |
