Show Foot Operated Upon. Charles Goold of HanUsville, Wayne Co., a former resident of St. George, arrived in this city Monday, bringing with him his thirteen-year-old son, George, to have on operation performed upon him for removal of a piece of wood from his right foot. While bath-in bath-in the Fremont river last August the piece of wood was driven into the ball of the foot, and has caused much pain since. The boy was taken to a doctor at Richfield, who after probing the foot said there was nothing there. The father finally decided to bring his son to Dr. Higgins, who removed the piece of wood Tuesday. It was as thick as an ordinary pencil and about an inch long. Mr. Goold and son left Wednesday. Wed-nesday. . |
