The special premium offered for the largest amount of bay produced was limited to two outline. resignation of It. O. McCHuirrie, chairman of mining and mineral committee, was accepted and Horatio Pickett selected to iill the position. Resignation of George F. Whitehead as secretary and treasurer, and chairman of committee on bees, poultry and dairying accepted, and Francis L. Daggeli selected to fill the position of secretary and treasurer. The chairman of committee on manufactures manu-factures was instructed to furnish glazing glaz-ing materials for Pottery exhibit to be made by John Eardley. The resignations resigna-tions of George F. "Whitehead and II. G. MoQuarrie became necessary, as they ire both about to proceed on missions.
