Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS state engineers office salt lake city utah sept 24 1919 notice Is hereby given that the cottonwood bench canal company of leeds utah has made application in accordance with the requirements of the compiled laws of utah 1917 as amended by the session laws ot utah 1919 to appropriate five 6 second feet of the surplus water from dick canyon in washington county said water will be diverted at a point N 35 degrees W t from the southeast corner ot section 33 township 40 south range 14 west salt lake base and meridian and conveyed ft in a ditch and discharged into heath wash thence down said wash and into cottonwood creek from where it will be diverted at a point N 66 degrees 16 minutes W ft from the N corner of section 34 township 41 south range 14 west and conveyed ft in a ditch and there used from january 1 to december 31 inclusive clu sive of each year as a supplemental supply to irrigate one thousand acres of land embraced in WE EWA and SESE sec 27 ESBA 33 N and NSE sec 34 township 41 south sec 3 NE and nwe SE sec 4 township 42 south all range 14 west this application is designated in the state engineers office as no all protests against the granting of said application stating the reasons must be made by affidavit in duplicate accompanied with a fee of 2 60 and filed in this office within thirty 30 days after the completion of the publication of this notice G F mcgonagle state engineer date of first publication oct 2 1919 dato of completion of publication oct 30 1919 |
