| Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS state engineers office salt lake city utah nov 27 notice la hereby given that the st george santa clara bench irrigation company with its principal olnee at st ceorge utah has made application in accordance with the requirements quire ments 0 the compiled laws ot utah 1907 as amended by the session laws ol 01 utah 1809 1911 and lila to appropriate one thousand 1000 acre feet of water from franta clara kiver in washington county said water will be alverter dl verter at a point degrees 66 minutes W ft from the corner 0 section 28 township 41 south range 17 west salt lake base and meridian and conveyed by means of a canal tor a distance ot ft and stored from january 1 to december 31 inclusive of each year in a reservoir embraced in sec 36 aforesaid township and range the center of the impounding dam will be located S 27 degiers E 1630 ft from the northwest corner of eald sec 36 the water will be released from the reservoir and allowed to flow down a natural wash for a distance of 2700 ft and discharged into santa clara river thelca down said river to a point N 56 degiers W ft from the wa corner of sec 16 township 42 south range 16 west where it will ue dl veiled and conveyed by means of two canals each approximately ft in length and there used during the entire year to irrigate 1200 acres of land embraced in sec 16 NSW and SESE sec 16 and sec 22 NSW W and NE sec 27 NE and ESE see 36 and sec 36 township 42 south range 16 west this application Is designated in the state engineers office as no 78 3 S all protests against the granting of said application stating the reasons must be made by affidavit in duplicate accompanied with a tee of 2 60 and filed in this office within thirty 30 days after the completion of the publication of this notice G F mcgonagle state engineer date of first publication dec 6 1918 date of completion of publication jan 4 1919 |
