Reid and grandchildren, Donald and Carolyn Davis of Midvale spent last Thursday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Neldon Keid Bishop and children of Orem. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Morris plan to spend this week end with their daughter, son-in-law and grandson, Mr. and Mrs. Josh Hawks and J. D. of Portage. Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Stillman and Mr. and JVIrs. A. J. Sargent spent last week end in Richfield as nuests of Mr. Sargent's family. Literature meeting of Bingham Ward Relief Society will be held Tuesday, May 17 at 10 a.m. at the church under direction of Mrs. Blanche Reid. All ladies of the. ward are invited. Mrs. Manuel Susaeta was hostess hos-tess to members of her afternoon club at a lovely dessert-bridge Tuesday afternoon at her home in Copperton. Mrs. S. W. Jacques and Mrs. Agnes Johnston played high and Mrs. Joseph P. Scussel won the bingo prize. Other members mem-bers present were Mrs. James Carrigan, Mrs. Tom Carrigan, Mrs. Ray Tat ton, Mrs. Joe Brisk and Mrs. Eugene Morris. The following members of the genealogy committee of Copper-ton Copper-ton Ward attended the stake meeting at South Jordan Wed- Fire Auxiliary were entertained entertain-ed by Mrs. Jack Householder Sr. and Mrs. James McLeod Monday evening. Bridge was played with prizes going to Mrs. Martin Prig-more, Prig-more, first; Mrs. Hosmer Peterson, Peter-son, second, and Mrs. Ross M. Cushing, bingo and draw. Dainty refreshments were served. Hostess Hos-tess next Monday night will be Mrs. Wesley Longfellow. Mrs. II. R. Gust of Copperton joined by her sister, Mrs. J. T. Davis of Midvale, left early Wed-. Wed-. nesday morning by chartered bus from Salt Lake City for Hotehkiss, Colo., where they will attend a two-day convention of the Women's Society of Christian Chris-tian Service as delegates from this area.
