' Mr. Scorille has recently received his discharge from the navy, serving ser-ving 2 years in the Pacific with the Seabees. Pvt. Wayne Olds is home on a 10-day furlough. He received his basic training at Camp Roberts, Calif, and reports back to Fort Ord, Calif, for re-assignment. - Mr. and Mrs. Thad Fullmer of Vernal, Utah, are here with Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Theobald. Mr. ' Fullmer came to be near his daughter, who is seriously ill in the St. George hospital. I Mrs. Eldora Barnum received ' word Sunday that her husband, ' Cleone Barnum, has arrived in ; the states and will be home soon. Mrs. Barnum has made her home here during his absence but the ' past two months has been work-; work-; ing irt Mesquite, Nev. Mr. and Mrs. Perry Keeler and sons have moved to Delta, where they will make their home. Mrs. Rowena W. Slack (Held over from last week) Miss Yvonne Jackson, who is teaching school at Overton, visited over Thanksgiving with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Jackson. Mrs. Pearl Glazier and daughter, daugh-ter, Marsetta, of Cedar, visited relatives here over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Lister of Ogden visited Monday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Smith. Scott Bringhurst, and son Scott Jr., of Salt Lake City, visited Monday at the home of his mother. moth-er. Mrs. Laura Bringhurst. Mrs. Harvey Theobald, who suffered suf-fered a relapse, returned to the hospital in St. George Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Brent Bauer of Cedar City visited over Saturday with Mrs. Bauer's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Olds. Mrs. Ruth Hardy spent Thanksgiving Thanks-giving holidays in Springdale. Mrs. Pauline Lorette and children, child-ren, Ronald and Linda, returned Monday from Los Angeles where they have been visiting. |
