Show LaVERKIN Pansy L. Hardy Reporter The home of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Church was the scene of a family reunion Tuesday, May 18, when the children, grandchildren, and in-laws of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Cox of St. George assembled for a social and meeting. The evening eve-ning was devoted to games for the children and visiting among adults. Light refreshments were served. There were 40 in attendance. at-tendance. The Builder and Gatherer groups of the Bee Hive classes of LaVerkin La-Verkin M.1. A. are vacationing in Zion National Park this week under the supervision of their leaders, Pauline Wilson and Audrey Aud-rey Gubler. The group of girls include: Vonda Hardy, Daisy Hardy, Jean Hepworth, Verla LeBaron, Le-Baron, Quinta Neilson, Helen Gubler and Afton Wilson. The first of a series of home nursing lessons was given here Monday evening by a Red Cross nurse, Miss Gray. The classes are to be given Monday a n d Thursday of each week for six weeks. Members who complete the required work will receive the standard R e d Cross home nursing certificate. |
