Show D. U. P. To Entertain Draftees Prior To Departure for Induction The three local camps of the D. U. P. will unite in entertaining for the Jan. quota of Washington county draftees before their departure de-parture this month. ' Through the courtesy and generosity of R. M. Reber, his building opposite the Tabernacle will be available for the event, which will include open house for the boys through the night prior to their departure. The building is heated and will be comfortable. All boys who are leaving for the service are cordially invited to bring their parents, wives, family members or sweethearts to the Reber building, where music and other entertainment will be provided during the hours prior to their departure. And to the public, cordial invitation is extended ex-tended to call and visit with the boys before they leave and to be there to accompany them to the bus station at whatever hour they are assigned to go. Citizens are requested also to distribute this information so that all who desire to attend may know of the event. Should there be any change in the date of departure, de-parture, word of this group notice will be distributed through the schools or otherwise. |
