Show Decorations for Junior Prom Nearly Completed Final touches are being placed on the "theme-lined" decorations for the Junior Prom, which will be held in the Recreation hall Friday Fri-day night. Although the decorations decor-ations are "outlined" by conservative conserv-ative ideas, everything will be, "in line" for a patriotic good time, according to Nelda Atkin, chairman chair-man of the committee ni charge. "The sky will be pink," says Miss Atkin, "because we have had to use pink paper that is the only kind on hand, and we de cided we should build with what we had." "But this is not so extraordinary," ex-traordinary," she continues. "The theme is 'Moonlight and Roses', and the pink is the reflection of the rose in the moonlight." The decorations are really beautiful, beau-tiful, say those who have had the chance to get a glimpse of them, and the committee promises a Prom that will please everybody. Patrons and patronesses are announced an-nounced as follows: Mr. and Mrs. Milton E. Moody, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn E. Snow, Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Bentley, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Huntsman and Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Gardner. Class advisors are Leland Hafen and Miss Linna Snow. Working with Miss Atkin on the Prom committee are: Mary Wintch, Alvin Cottam, K. D. Williams, Wil-liams, Alpine Prince, Pearl Adair, Wayne Holt and Shannon Shum-way. |
