Show Two Army Deserters Arrested At Kanab By Sheriff Prince The arrest of two Army deserters yesterday is reported by Sheriff Antone B. Prince. Information leading to their arrest came at the time that Sheriff Prince and Deputy Sheriff Lee Adams were stopping cars and searching them in an attempt to apprehend the two Army deserters who had commandeered a taxi cab in Salt Lake City and started south on Highway 91. Reports from the north indicate that these two were arrested at Nephi. Two Deserters The first report that the men might be deserters was given the officers when they stopped a car and the ' driver told them that he had seen two Army men get out of a car at Anderson's Junction and start toward Toquerville. Leaving Deputy Sheriff Adams to continue with the search of cars, Sheriff Prince drove to Toquerville Toquer-ville where he learned that the men had passed through there on their way to Zion National Park. He then called the Park, but the call was slow going through, until when it was finally put through, Park officials told him that the men had gone through there about 15 minutes before. He immediately started in pursuit pur-suit and at the Park asked Donal Jolley, forest ranger, to go with him after the boys.. The two officers of-ficers then continued on to Kanab where they arrived at about the same time as the deserters. When they picked the men up they admitted ad-mitted that they were deserters from Camp Cox Comb, Calif. They gave their names as Harry A. Bradbury and Creed C. Lewis. The men are being held here for Army officers.
