Show VEYO Thelma Chadburn Reporter A dance was held in the open air pavilion for four service men from here and Central. Several couples from here are spending a few days in Ox Valley, riding and camping. Monroe Wallace of McNeil, Mississippi, Mis-sissippi, is here visiting for two weeks. His wife and daughter will return to Mississippi with him. Mr. and Mrs. John Hunt, George H. Howard, Lova Houser and Luen Bowler, have been visiting at Bryce, Zion and Grand Canyon. They report a very good time. SSgt. Norman B. Chadburn reported back to Ft. Douglas on Tuesday after a 34-day furlough. Mrs. Zella Hunt and son Roland, of Logandale, Nevada, are visiting at the John Bowler home. Mrs. George Beacham of St. George and Mrs. Bill Maxwell of Mojave, California, were visiting at the home of Mrs. Fred Chad-burn. Chad-burn. M. P. Custer has employment at Compton, California. Judy Judd of St. George is spending the week here visiting with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Chadburn. Mrs. Tex Mosley received a telegram tele-gram that her husband is being released from the army and is coming home. |
