He freighted during the boom days of Silver Reef and was always known for the exceptionally good horses he drove. One especially fine horse he obtained from the Navajoes, who came to trade in this area. Many still remember the animal. Mrs. HalL died Jan. 31, 1934. Their living children include: Mrs. Oliver Canfield and Mrs. Burr Canfield of St. George; Mrs. LeRoyTobler, Overton; Mrs. Clare Jepson of Salt Lake City; Reed Hall of Springdale; and Lydia Hall, St. George. For his many years, Mr. Hall is in good health, and enjoys keeping up with what is going on through the daily papers, magazines maga-zines and radio. |
