Show Plans Going Forward For Alumni Banquet Preparations are moving forward for the 1944 Alumni Banquet of Dixie junior college, reports the committee, and indications are that there will be a large crowd in attendance for this event, which will pay tribute to college students stu-dents who are now serving with the U. S. armed forces all over the world. Knowing it would be impossible at this time to reach all alumni members with regular invitations, post card announcements have been mailed to groups who represent repre-sent the various years and these groups are being requested to contact others and spread the good word of the 1944 banquet, which is to be held m the Woodward Wood-ward high gym, Monday, May 15, at 8:30 p.m. Tickets for the banquet went on sale Monday, May 1st, and reservations res-ervations may be made with any one of the five committee mem-bers mem-bers as follows : Rudgar McArthur, Mc-Arthur, at Ashby-McQuaid garage, phone 64; Harold Hafen at O. K. Rubber Welders, or phone 198; Caroline Stucki at Dixie junior college or phone 256-W; Mrs. Grant Whitehead, phone 75-M; and Mabel Jarvis, phone 46-W. |
