They h,.,ve been working the past summer sum-mer at the Zion Canyon coal mine. . . Bert Sullivan has moved his family to Roekville, Where he is teaching school. Mr. and Mrs. Max McMullin were business visitors in St. George last Friday. Conrad Fuller of St. George spent the woek end here with his little friends. Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Allen and children, Alene and Stewart, visited friends and relatives in 1 lurricane Thursday evening. Alene has since returned to her employment employ-ment at St. Johns, Utah, and Stewart is to be inducted into the Army in November. The young people of Leeds enjoyed en-joyed a venison supper Monday evening. Mrs. Mack G. Jackson and daughter, Nancy Rose, spent Friday Fri-day with Mrs. Vere McMullin. Mrs. Valla Dalton is 'here to visit her mother, Mrs. Rebecca Angell and also to find employment. employ-ment. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Decker and family spent Sunday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ed-ward McMullin. Mrs. McMullin is Mrs. Decker's sister. Navarro and Rebecca Dalton of Salt Lake City have come to spend the remainder of the winter with their grandmother, Mrs. Rebecca Re-becca Angell. Clark Hartman and several of his friends of' Boulder City, spent several days of the deer hunt here with Clark's mother, Mrs. Dalice Hartman. Cadet George Mack Olsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Olsen, is here from Denver university in Colorado to spend a short furlough fur-lough with his friends and relatives. rela-tives. The M. I. A. sponsored a Hallowe'en Hal-lowe'en party here Friday night which was enjoyed by old and young. Word has been received by Mrs. Dalice Hartman of the transfer trans-fer of her son, Clive, from Texas to Florida. T.M.3c J. Harvey Savage returned re-turned Wednesday to his base at San Diego after a few days' leave. Frank P. McMullin and , Agnes Wilson were business visitors in St. George Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Eager and family visited at Springdale last Sunday with relatives. Red Cross knitters were guests of Mrs. Frank Hartley on Thursday. |
