Show SPRINGDALE Mrs. Arnold Ruesch Reporter Jerome Gifford has returned to his military post after being home on furlough. Mrs. Adelia Bennett left Sunday Sun-day for San Diego to visit her daughter. Miss Dorothy Gifford, who has been employed in Salt Lake City for several months is at home visiting. Miss Peggy Bleak of St. George spent the week end visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Arn-old Ruesch. Mrs. Aletha Cannon and small son, Jimmie, are visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kendall Gifford. Springdale ward M. I. A. officers offi-cers and teachers attended the concert in Hurricane Sunday evening. eve-ning. Verna Gifford is visiting in Mil-ford Mil-ford with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Edwards. Ed-wards. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Russell were visiting here last week. Walter Ruesch had the misfortune mis-fortune of losing the end of his thumb in a grinder last week. The Zion Park stake presidency were speakers in our ward Sacrament Sac-rament meeting last Sunday. Their visit was appreciated. Mrs. Verda Davis and small daughter are here to stay with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Crawford, while her husband is in the Army. Mrs. Melba Hoyt believes she holds the record to date with seven brothers in military service. Dan Justett is reported seriously seri-ously sick. He has been bedfast for more than a week. Mr. and Mrs. Morris Cope made a business trip to St. George last Saturday. Mrs. Ethel Excell is home after visiting in northern Utah for several sev-eral days. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Ruesch and daughter, LaVerde, and Sterling Sterl-ing Seegmiller made a business trip to Fredonia last week. Mrs. Adelia Dennett, Mrs. Ner-issa Ner-issa Ruesch and Mrs. Erma Udall spent last Thursday at the St. George Temple. Mrs. Margery Langston was in Hurricane on business Friday. |
