Show Aged Hurricane Pioneer Dies Suddenly of Heart Attack Wednesday HURRICANE, Utah. Mrs. Mary Red Workman Hall died suddenly Wednesday noon, Nov. 19, of a heart attack. She had done her usual morning's work and was visiting vis-iting with friends when she was stricken. Born in New Harmony, July 22, 1871, she was 70 years old. Surviving Sur-viving her besides her husband, John F. Hall, age 80, are two daughters, Mrs. Thclma W. Stirling Stirl-ing of Leeds and Mrs. Ora W. Williams of Hurricane, and 12 grandchildren. Workman was the third family to settle at Hurricane. Until the Hurricane Hur-ricane ward was divided, she served serv-ed as Relief Society president of that ward, being the first to hold that position. Since the ward division di-vision she has been stake Relief Society secretary. After the death of her first husband she took over his position as the first postmaster at Hurricane. Hurri-cane. She held this position for many years. Funeral services will be held at Hurricane, Friday, Nov. 21, at 2 p. m., under the direction of Bishop Elmar A. Graff. |
