Show NEW HARMONY Mrs. O. Hammond Reporter John Prince of Price, was here several days last week visiting relatives and old-time friends. Before Be-fore returning home he will go to California to visit his two sons who are in defense work there. Mr. and Mrs. Keith C. DuBois of Fairfield, Utah, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Mathis last week, returning home Thursday. Thurs-day. Mr. and Mrs. Philden DeMille were visiting in New Harmony several days last week, guests of Mrs. DeMille's parents, Mr. and Mrs. James F. Prince. Emil Dostalek came in from his work near the Woolsey ranch and spent Saturday and Sunday with his family. Mr. and Mrs. Golden Taylor of Hurricane were week end visitors at the home of Mrs. Elsie Cornelius, Corn-elius, sister of Mr. Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Williams and family of Cedar City were Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry A. Pace, parents of Mrs. Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Glendon Grant and family, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Hall and family, and Gerald Hall, all of Cedar City, and Rouse Hall of Ogden, were visitors Saturday over Monday at the homes of James L. Prince and Edmund Hall. There were about 165 hunters this season in the vicinity of New Harmony. Many of them were disappointed, failing to get their deer. On Sunday evening, "Aunt" Susan Su-san A. Pace was happily surprised sur-prised when a niece whom she had not seen for a number of years, called to see her. The niece was the former Irene Rohner of New Harmony, now Mrs. William Pincock of Sugar City, Ida. She was accompanied by her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Kenton Pincock of Mesa, Ariz. |
