On May 8, 1878, she was married mar-ried in the St. George Temple to Lyman Canfield, living at a ranch at the Meadows, where their 11 children were born, and where, as midwife, Mrs. Canfield delivered 18 babies without the help of a physician. They have resided in St. George for the past 40 years, where she has been known for her thrift and kindness. He husband has been active in building and other improvements im-provements over his many years. They are the parents of 11 children, five of whom survive, with their father. There are: Milo and Mark Canfield of Bremmer-ton, Bremmer-ton, Wash.; Burr and Oliver Can-field Can-field and Mrs. Neida Lightner of St. George; one sister, Mrs. Caroline Caro-line Richards of Salt Lake City; two brothers, Charles and Miner Laub of St. George; 27 grandchildren grand-children and five great-grandchildren. |
