Show LAMBDA DELTA SIGMA PLEDGES 46 STUDENTS Lambda Delta Sigma, National Religious Fraternity of the LDS church, pledged 46 students of Dixie junior college and the St. George Institute of Religion recently. re-cently. Rudger McArthur acting president of the organization, presided at the impressive services. ser-vices. The five objectives of the club was treated by Walter Snow, Maxine Heaton, Anette Pendleton, Pendle-ton, Elwyn Cameron and Melva Rene Woodward. Mrs. Ralph Lauper and Ula Mae Earl assisted with the candle lighting ceremony. Pearson H-Corbett, H-Corbett, head of the Institution, spoke briefly, and Miss Marion Graff, accompanied by her sister Shirley, rendered two xylophone selections. Pledged to the fraternity at these ceremonies were M. Dawn Andrus, Lou Jean Atkin, Beverly Baldwin, Rula Barton, Joyce Bit-hell, Bit-hell, Mary Lou Brinkerhoff, La-Rae La-Rae Bringhurst, Olive Brooks, Georgia Frost, Gai Graff, Eldene Hall, Glenna Hansen, Hermoine Hoyt, Elizabeth Hunt, Josephine Jones, Dora Jean Leavitt, Glenna Maxwell, Enid McArthur, Alta Mae Neilson Marilyn Snow, Vivian Viv-ian Snow, Leonora Spencer, Clara Williams, Erma Woodbury, Vernon Vern-on J. Short, Phil Spendlove, and Jack A. Ware. Associate pledges are, Delsey Barnum, Mary Crosby, Wendell Crosby, Beulah. Graff, Colleen Hafen, Erma McArthur, Ralph J. Lauper, Lorraine Johnson, Grant D. Johnson, Maree Higbee, Bernard Seegmiller, Shirley H. Schmutz, Grena Schmutz, Alberta O'Brien, Idona Merrill, Iona Ware and Deloris Sullivan.
