Show ROCKVJLLE Mrs. Newell DeMille Reporter Pfc. Sherman Russell arrived on Saturday from the South Pacific where he has served for the past l'a years with the Wildcat division of the army, after training in Alabama, Tenn-csse, Tenn-csse, Arizona and California. In April 1913 he sailed for the South Pacific, where he was in many invasions. For the last 3 months of his service he was in Japan. He left here on Monday for Long Beach, Calif, to meet his wife. SlC Tren S. Hirschi spent Sunday and Monday here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Hirschi, and will leave this coast soon for service in Japan waters. Mrs. Eleanor Sevy, Mrs. Shirley Shir-ley Woodbury and Mrs. Gwcn Atherly spent the week end in Salt Lake City, on business. Mrs. Grace Hirschi is spending this week in Cedar City with her husband and children who are living there. Speakers at our Sacrament meeting Sunday were Slake missionaries mis-sionaries Mrs. Ilowena Slack and Mrs. Iluth 1 lardy of Toqurrvillo and Mr. and Mrs. Waller Seglcr of LaVcrkin. Riley Hirschi spent a few days here last week visiting his mother Mrs. Mary C. Hirschi.. Willis, Glen and Stella Hall of Hurricane spent Sunday here visiting relatives. Willis and Glen have just been released from the army. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon I lent on, are home after spending the past 3 weeks in Salt Lake City where Mr. Ileaton went for medical all enl ion. Mr. and Mrs. George Hirschi and daughters spent Saturday in Cedar City visiting their son La-var La-var and wife. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Walker of St. George are here visiting for awhile. Mr. and Mrs. George Laeto of Illackfoot, Idaho, were guests of Mr .and Mrs. Wm. Mansor last week. William Pearling arrived last week from California with his discharge from the A A K. His wife, the former Nadine DeMille and son arc here with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Irad DeMille. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Crawford of Ogdcn spent a few hours here lasl Week at the home of Mr. and Mis. I'hiletu.s Jones. |
