Show Washington County To Participate In War Bond Queen Contest Cooperating with the Utah War Finance Committee, the motion picture theatres of Utah and the Salt Lake Tribune have united to stage what is acclaimed the "mightiest target in Utah history" in an all-out "War Bond Queen Contest for the 7th War Loan. It is hoped through this appeal to personal interest to put Utah over the top with her alloted 20 million dollar "E" bond quota of this loan. Salt Lake Tribune and Utah Theatre officials touring the state j met with the Washington county War Bond Committee and local theatre operators Tuesday afternoon after-noon in St. George and outlined the progTam. The plans are set to give all counties a fair chance regardless of their size and pur- chasing power, and like fairness I to each contestant. All queens will be guests of the Salt Lake i Tribune for the finals to be held I in Salt Lake City. July 3 and 4, (when the Utah Bond Queen will i be officially chosen. The girl elected Wrar Bond I Queen of Utah will be given state I and national recognition. She will win a trip to Hollywood, all expenses ex-penses paid, B War Bond Citation from the Motion Picture Industry's Indus-try's War Activities Committee, screen test consideration, visits to Hollywood's major motion picture studios and entertainment otherwise. other-wise.
