Show R0CKY1LLE Mrs. Philehi-S Jones Mrs. Newell DeMille Importers Mr. and Mrs. Wi'ldon Jennings and daughter, and Mrs. Parks, mother of Mrs. Jennings, spent last, week here wilh relatives, returning re-turning to Las Vegas Saturday. Mrs. Velma Faweett and children child-ren of Salt Lake City are here visiting Mrs. Faweett's sister, Mrs. Fern Ilirschi. Leonard Dal ton came up from Las Vegas over the week end to get Mrs. Dalton and their son, who have been here for two weeks canning fruit. James Lemmon of Idaho spent the past week here visiting his mother, Mrs. Caroline Lemmon. This is his first visit home in 16 years. Mr. and Mrs. Cleo Sullivan and family of St. George spent Sunday Sun-day visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Ilirschi and family. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Canfield of St. George are visiting Mrs. Can-field's Can-field's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Irad DeMille. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Harmon and their mother, Mrs. Alice W. Harmon of St. George visited over Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Waldon Ballard. Mr. and Mrs. Phildcn DeMille of Salt Lake City arrived Saturday Satur-day for a short visit with Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum DeMille. Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Hirschi of Cedar City visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Waldon Ballard and with Mr. Hirschi's father, Daniel Hirschi. Mr. and Mrs. Merle Woodbury of Mesquite are visiting Mrs. Woodbury's mother, Mrs. Nora Lester. Merle leaves next month for induction in the Army. Mrs. Irene Stapley of Cedar City visited her mother, Mrs. Charles Walker over the week end, also getting peaches. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Hirschi and children of Cedar City spent a couple of days here last week getting fruit for canning. Rockville has been well represented repre-sented at the stake cannery this season, a large crowd of men, women and children having responded re-sponded to each call. Mr. and Mrs. Philetus Jones and Mrs. Garth Jones and son made a trip to Kanab last week to see their son, Alvin Hardy and family. John Carroll made a business trip to Las Vegas over the week end to obtain employment. He will move his family there this Friday to spend the winter. Mrs. Don Leavitt and twin daughters are here visiting her mother, Mrs. Grace Hirschi. Speakers at our Sacrament meeting Suriday were Wayne Wilson Wil-son and Maurice, J. Nuttall of the stake high council. Both gave good advice. Arlie Stapeley of Cedar City is here visiting his grandmother, Mrs. Charles Walker. Mrs. Vernon Worthen and son, and Mrs. LeRoy Walker and baby, all of St. George, were Tuesday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Afton Ballard. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd DeMille made a business trip to St. George Tuesday. Mrs. Almeda Dalton is here from Moccasin, Ariz., canning fruit. Edward Jones, who was injured last week in falling from a load of hay is still confined to his bed. |
