Show WASHINGTON Sirs. Caddie Neilson Reporter All members of the family of Mrs. Zina Prisbrey visited with her Sunday following her receipt of word Saturday that her son, Pfc. Ivyl S. Prisbrey had been killed. Those here were Mrs. I. S. Prisbrey Pris-brey and baby, Mrs. Carl Pymm and Mr. and Mrs. Maxwell Prisbrey Pris-brey of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Willard Williams of Kanarra and Mrs. Geneva Stapley of To-querville. To-querville. Mrs. Pymm will remain with her mother for a week. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Webb and son, Clinton, Mrs. Clark Chad-burn Chad-burn and daughters, LouJene and Denina came up Saturday from Las Vegas to spend a week with relatives. Miss Patricia Vincent, who has been in Las Vegas for sometime with the Webb's accompanied ac-companied them home. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Mock and family of South Gate, Calif., are here visiting with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Staheli. Mrs. Mary M. Ray arrived home last week from spending some time in Las Vegas with relatives. She is very happy to report that she has received word from her husband, Lt. Ray, who has been a German prisoner for some time, that he has been liberated and will be home before too long. Bill Sandberg, who has been serving in the Navy for the past 3V2 years is home for the first time on a thirty-day leave. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Williams entertained the Pinochle club on Saturday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Antone Neilson. Clive and Clare Neilson of the Merchant Marines are home visiting visit-ing their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Neilson. Mrs. Athole Milne has returned home after spending two weeks in Las Vegas with her daughter, Mrs. Earl Childers. Mrs. H. W. Prisbrey, who has been visiting in Indio, Calif., came home last week accompanied by her two daughters, Maude and Ferrall, who will visit here. Mrs. John E. Watkins is confined con-fined to her bed with rheumatic fever. Mrs. Jennie Prince, who will be 90 years old in June is seriously ill at her home. Her daughter, Mrs. Nancy Girffith of Wendell, Idaho and granddaughter, Mrs. Ralph Flecher of Bremerton, Wash., arrived Monday to be with her. Mrs. Agatha McAllister of St. George, who has spent the past week here with her daughter, Mrs. Aggie Sproul returned to her home Monday. Lt. Paul Neilson arrived Tuesday Tues-day from Marfa, Texas where he graduated and was commissioned a 2nd lieutenant on May 23 from the Marfa Army Air Field. He will spend a couple of days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Israel Neilson and before reporting to Tucson for his next assignment, will atttend the graduation exercises exer-cises in Los Angeles of his brother, McKay Neilson, who graduates June 2nd from the University of Southern California, College of Dentistry. |
