Show TOQUERYILLE Mrs. Eowena W. Slack Reporter Saturday night, Mr. and Mrs. E. K. Slack entertained at a reception recep-tion honoring their daughter and son-in-law, Pvt. and Mrs. Lewis Fish. The entertainment consisted of a program, dancing and serving of refreshments. Pvt. Fish has had his basic training in Camp Roberts, Calif., and has to report to Camp Meade, MA, on June -5th for overseas duty. Cpl. Lewis Naegle arrived Sunday Sun-day for a few days visit from his post at Dugway Proving Grounds, Tooele. Ivan Bringhurst, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Bringhurst arrived Tuesday from Colorado Springs, Colo., where he has been in the convalescent hospital. He has received his discharge from the army. He left Saturday for Denver, Den-ver, Colo., where he will enter an electrical engineering school. Misses Buelah and Wilma Klein-man Klein-man left Wednesday for Salt Lake City for a visit. Misses LaRae and Dola Bringhurst Bring-hurst have gone to Ogden where they have employment. Miss Berdeen Batty has employment em-ployment in Cedar City. Mrs. William Bringhurst returned return-ed home Sunday from Ogden where she has been visiting for a week. Miss Clara Williams of Boulder City, Nevada spent the week end visiting at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Bringhurst. Mr. and Mrs. Irving Earl, Phillip Phil-lip and Diana of Boulder City, are visiting at the home of Mrs. Earl's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Anderson. Mrs. J. T. Beatty and daughter, Kathleen left Monday for Phoenix, Arizona to visit. Mrs. Robert Dean left Friday for Provo where she will visit with her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Dean. Mrs. R. T. Higbee is visiting in Cedar City. |
