Show News from Our People In the Armed Services By MABEL JARVIS Back on Sea Duty "They are giving me another chance at sea duty," writes Donald Don-ald L. Horsley, S 1c but having already had three years and four months on the big blue, he figures the excitment "and first day at sea stuff" will be nothing to write home about this time. Since returning from his more than three years in the Pacific he has enjoyed a few weeks of rest and some specialized training at the Navy Training Station, Newport, New-port, R.I. He says he has made many newspaper acquaintances while absent, and even when his County News arrived a month late it "really meant something". Though he has only been home once since March, 1941, he thinks the News will keep him from being be-ing a stranger when he comes back for keeps. . Pa Russell Hamsen Send Greetings Lieut. C. R. Best Wishes to all the old gang, wherever you may be. May you all have as Merry a Christmas as this miserable war permits. Good luck!" We are sure some of the "Old Gang" will get the greeting. fs fa h Legnamd Prei Awarded Air Medal From the AAF, Pacific Ocean Area comes announcement this week of the award of the Air Medal to Sgt.
