Show VIRGIN Thelma Wilcox Minerva Earl Reporters Mrs. Paula Keeler and daughter, Ivy, of Salt Lake City are here visiting at the home of her father, Sylvester Earl. Mrs. Mary Flanigan and sons, Norman and Sherman, and Mr. and Mrs. George Thompson and family are here, due to the illness of their son-in-law and brother, Herbert Wood. Mrs. Nomia Kent of Salt Lake City is also here visiting Mr. Wood, who is her brother. Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Ruesch of Lovelock, Nev., are here visiting visit-ing his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oren Ruesch. Lyman has just returned from Salt Lake City where he had his pre-induction examination and will leave shortly for military service. Mrs. Eva Wood of Kanarra was a visitor at the home of Herbert Wood Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Thompson Thomp-son and daughter, Nancy Lou, of Orem, are here visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Brinkerhoff , parents of Mrs. Thompson. Mrs. Thelma Wilcox and daughter, daugh-ter, Hulene, left Monday for San Bernardino to visit Pvt. and Mrs. Leonard Wilcox. Pvt. Wilcox is a son of Mrs. Thelma Wilcox and is stationed at the air corps training train-ing center at that place. Mr. and Mrs. William Flanigan and son, Elsworth and family, all of Cedar City, were visiting in Virgin on Monday. Seaman Elsworth Els-worth Flanigan has just completed com-pleted his boot training at Farra-gut Farra-gut and is home on leave. Mrs. Lawrence Marker came down from Cedar City, Monday, bringing her sister, Mrs. Jack Schofield and baby from the Iron county hospital. Niles Earl and B. M. Jones who are employed in Las Vegas spent the week end in Virgin. Miss Norma Bennett and Miss Evelyn Ashley have returned to their homes in Provo after visiting visit-ing in Virgin for two weeks with friends. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Thompson Thomp-son and daughter are here from Provo visiting with Mr. and Mrs. William Brinkerhoff, parents of Mrs. Thompson. |
