Show ENTERPRISE Mrs. Theresa Huntsman Reporter Heber M. Holt and daughter, McVoy left Friday for Salt Lake City. Mr. Holt will attend the six-weeks summer school course at the University of Utah and McVoy will study music. SSgt. and Mrs. Anthony Mel-essa Mel-essa returned from Wisconsin last week for a few days visit with Mrs. Melessa's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Truman. Sgt. Melessa has been attending school in Wisconsin Wis-consin for the past several months and has been reassigned to Ogden for more training. He left on Tuesday for his post. Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Terry have returned home from the northern part of the state after visiting for several months with their children. child-ren. Mr. Terry underwent surgery sur-gery at the L D S hospital in Salt Lake City and has been convalescing con-valescing at the home of their children in Orem. Mr. and Mrs. Lafayette Terry brought them home Saturday and will visit here for a few days. Katie Barlocker is home from the B Y U after completing her Junior year of college there. She was elected president of Omega chapter of Lambda Delta Sigma for the next school year. Miss Barlocker assisted Dr. Hansen in his piano recital as vocal soloist solo-ist and played two piano solos. Emmerine Staheli, who attended attend-ed school at the B Y U during the past winter has returned home. Ranger Edison Adair, Nephi Hunt, Norvel Bracken, Alma Truman Tru-man and John F. Laub went to New Harmony on Saturday to attend a Fire Prevention conference con-ference given by the forest de? partment. After the lectures and demonstrations, a banquet was served. Roland Bowler was a business visitor in St. George Tuesday. Dragged by Horse Leonard Hilman, who is here from Milford visiting with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Terry had the misfortune of being dragged by the horse he was riding. He suffered bruises and lacerations on his head and neck. He was riding with his grandfather grand-father and others on the range gathering cattle. He leaned over and fell from the horse and his foot caught in the stirrup. The horse dragged him for some distance dis-tance before it was stopped. |
