Show TOQUERYILLE , Mrs. Rowena W. Slack Reporter The Mother's Service club entertained enter-tained at a social Thursday evening eve-ning honoring Carlos Leamaster Eoatsmate lc, Sgt. Richard Olds and Cpl. Louis Naegle, all of ,whom were here from military , service. After a program and dancing, refreshments were served. A number' ;of the townspeople attended the party given in La-Verkin La-Verkin for the Elders and their wives. Mrs. (Evelyn Stearns entertained entertain-ed the Sewing club at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. K. Slack on Wednesday night. Mrs. Annis Naegle, Mrs. Fawn Comoro and Cpl. Louis Naegle left Friday for San Francisco. Mrs. Irene Rumph left Tuesday for her home in Long Beach after visiting for the past month with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. S. Kleinman. Mrs. Mart Chatterly of Kanab is visiting at the home of her mother, Mrs. Laura Brighurst. William Brighurst returned on Sunday from Oakland, California where he has been visiting his children. Samuel Bringhurst left Wednesday Wed-nesday for Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Stout, stake missionaries from Hurricane visited in Toquerville Monday evening. |
