Show Mrs. Lillie M. White Of St. George Dies In Paragoonah Friends in St. George were noti-'il noti-'il Xonday of the death that morning in Paragoonah of Mrs. Lilhe May White. 75, of St. George, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harvey Dunton. Mrs. White had lxen ill for two weeks, at her home in St. George before going to Paragoonah to be with her daughter. Born Sept. 19, 1ST,9, she had spent most of her life in Oregon and Roscoe. Calif. She married John S. White of Roscoe. by whom she had nine children. They liocimc converts of the L. D. S. church in 1924, a few months before the death of Mr. White. Accompanied by her daughter, then Mrs. Virginia Pratt, and three daughters, she came to St. George where they obtained property pro-perty near the Temple and did most of the work in building their small home. Two years ago Mrs. Pratt married Harvey Dun-ton Dun-ton of Paragoonah, and moved there to reside, Mrs. White remaining re-maining in St. George where she has been active as a Temple worker the past nine years. She was also active in Relief Society. Funeral services were held in the Paragoonah chapel Wednesday Jan. 24. at 2 p. m. for Mrs. White. Attending from St. George were Bp. and Mrs. Byron Taylor and Mrs. Donald Schmutz. Surviving Mrs. White are seven children. Albert White and Mrs. Stella Maxwell of . Roscoe, Calif.; Mrs. Agnes Cornell of Eugene, Oregon; Mrs. Alice Fackrell, Mrs. Maude Fackrell and Mrs. Elsie Fackrell, all of Homedale, Idaho, and Mrs. Dunton or Paragoonah; 36 grandchildren and four .greatgrandchildren. |
