Romney Jr. Is Red Cross Speaker The Washington County chapter of the American Red Cross is sponsoring a special meeting Sunday Sun-day evening, Feb. 4, at the St. George stake Tabernacle wherv Miles A. Romney Jr., overseas Club Director, will be the guest speaker. Who does what for your son or brother or husband, when he is on leave in a war zone? Who assists him in solving his personal problems at any and all times, anywhere? What recreational opportunities op-portunities does a serviceman have when he has time off from actual duty. These and similar questions will be answered by Mr. Romney in relating his experiences as club director in England and later lat-er in Scotland. Mr. Romney was field director of the American Red Cross in May and June, 1942. He was then sent to Great Britian and Red Cross Speaker (Continued from first page) assigned to the Washington club, London, as director. From there he went to the American Red Cross club in Edinburgh, Scotland remaining until Feb. 1944, when he was stationed at Derby, England Eng-land until his return to the U. S. in Nov. 1944.
