Show December 5 and 6 Scheduled By Superintendent For County Teachers' Institute December 5 and 6 have been scheduled as dates for the Washington Wash-ington County Teachers' Institute, according to an announcement made this week from the county superintendent's office. Meetings will commence in the Elementary school building at 9 a.m., Dec. 5, and continue throughout the morning. During the afternoon of Dec. 5, and on Dec. 6, the meetings meet-ings will be held in the Dixie junior college auditorium. Included among the state visitors visi-tors who will address the conference confer-ence will be Dr. John T. Wahl-quist, Wahl-quist, recently appointed Dean of the School of Education at the University of Utah, Assistant Superintendent Su-perintendent David Gourley, and Miss Berniece Moss, director of health and physical education from the State Department of Public Instruction. The program provides time for the teachers of the county and the visitors to attend the Dixie junior college Fine Arts Festival and the group will join with the St. George Rotary club for their Friday noon luncheon. |
