Show MESQOITE, Nev. Mrs. Daisy L. Reber Reporter Pfc. Lynn Leavitt is home for a short furlough with his wife, Elo-ise, Elo-ise, and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Leavitt. Mr. and Mrs. Lister Leavitt are local visitors this week. Mr. and Mrs. George Bowler of Logandale spent Sunday here. he St. George South Ward presented pre-sented the program in services Sunday under direction of Cleo Sullivan. Glenn and Darrel Graff sang two duets accompanied by Wm. T. Morris Jr., Miss Marion Graff supplied two xylophone solos, so-los, accompanied by her mother, and talks were given by Gladys Johnson, Vernon Worthen and Glenn Graff. Miss Carma Leavitt of Las Vegas Ve-gas is here to attend school. Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Granger and have returned from Alhambra, Cal. The MIA officers presented the first co-joint program of the season Sunday, and a social was held on Tuesday evening. J. Lewis Pulsipher, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Pulsipher, landed in Seattle Sunday after extended service in the Pacific. His wife, Marion, of St. George, and his brother, William, will meet him at Salt Lake City. |
