Show SPRINGDALE Mrs. Nancy Crawford Mrs. Sterling Seegmiller Reporters (Held Over from Last Week) Mr. and Mrs. Clair Baker and two children, of California, were visiting a few days last week at the home of Mrs. Baker's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Ruesch. The MIA held an outing in Zion park. They had a fireside program on Tuesday evening of last week. A party was held Friday honoring honor-ing Ward Excell and Gerald Gif-ford, Gif-ford, who are home from the European theatre of war. Erwin Gifford and his new bride visited here three days last week. Mrs. Barney ' Gifford has just returned home after spending several sev-eral weeks where her husband is employed. Mrs. Lora Wright and Mr. and Mrs. June Gifford and children, were here over the week-end. Mrs. Wright will remain here with her mother, Mrs. Lora Christensen. Mr. and Mrs. Arden Allred are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. John Allred. Arden has been employed in Ogden for the past summer and will enter the B A C in Cedar City this fall. The former Priscilla Hopworth and her husband and children, of California, are here visiting with relatives. LeGrand Hopworth is here from Salt Lake City for a visit with relatives. Erwin Jenson was here from Pleasant Grove, visiting at the home of his sister, Mrs. Clarence Olsen. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Johnson had as their guests during the week, Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Carol of Inglewood, California, and Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Chamberlain of Or-derville. Or-derville. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Excell and his sister, Venice Excell, of California, Cali-fornia, are visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Excell. Mr. and Mrs. James Crawford and Harry Gifford left Monday for Salt Lake City on a business trip. John Ruesch is still seriously ill. Victor Ruesch has purchased and opened up for business, the Standard Station here. |
