Show Cut In WPA Recreational Forces Releases Supervisor Grant Whitehead The process of reducing recreational recre-ational project supervision throughout through-out the state under the tremendous tremend-ous cut of WPA projects combined the work of Washington and Iron counties under district five, and removed supervisor Grant Whitehead White-head as leader in Washington county, much to the regret of the entire force of workers and the people throughout the county. Mr. Whitehead has organized and carried on excellent programs and his work has been highly complimented by state officials. He is also commended for his leadership activities, and Superintendent Superin-tendent Moody and the county school board have ably supported these activities, and will, also regret re-gret losing director Whitehead from this important project. Mrs. Gwendolyn Rogers has been appointed to the post of time keeper for St. George and will have general supervision of projects, along with conducting the afternoon play school activities. activi-ties. District supervisor Ruth Skid-more Skid-more met with the workers at the McQuarrie hall this (Thursday) (Thurs-day) morning to complete the set-up and issue instructions. District time keeper Milton Hat-ton Hat-ton of Fillmore visited the project workers throughout the county Wednesday. |
