Show Bunkerville, Nev. Mrs. Mary H. Leavitt Reporter School opened here August 31, with the following teachers, five of whom are new in the district. They are as follows: Elmer Randall, Rigby, Idaho, principal; Norma Petty, Salt Lake City, Home Economics; Ana Lou Peterson, Salt Lake City, Physical Education; Educa-tion; Lee Brooks, St. George, Athletics; Ath-letics; Milton Beck, Payson, Utah, Chemistry; Alton Peterson, Smith-field, Smith-field, Utah, Art; Clyde Miller, Heber City, Utah, Music; Donald Tobler, Bunkerville, Agricultuer; Ula Cline, Las Vegas, 1st and 2nd grades; Roxey Romney, St. George 3rd and 4th grades; Grant Hardy, Bunkerville, 5th and 6th grades. Francis Leavitt returned from Reno last week and has gone to Overton. He is the principal of the high schoot trrcre. Austin Hunt returned from Los Angeles and has gone to Overton to teach. The Y.M.M.I.A. officers were elected last Sunday with Lee Brooks as president and Jack Leavitt Lea-vitt and Rodney Wite as councilors. Asahel Leavitt, Ken Earl and Elfine Hardy spent the week-end here from Salt Lake City. Born a son to Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Reber at St. George on August 21. |
