Show Hurricane Mrs. Katharine Larson Reporter On February 12 Karl Larson received a letter from Albert E. Miller, Washington county's representative rep-resentative at the state legislature, legisla-ture, concerning the introduction of bill nunilxT 213. This bill contains con-tains proposed legislation relative to the division of county tax revenues for library purposes. It is the desire of the citizens at Hurricane to see H.B. 213 become a law, with this change in the statutes the local city nm-ary win be reorganized as a county library capable of supplying library facilities to East Washington Washing-ton county or in other words to Hurricane higli school zone. Sunday visitors at the Joseph W .Webb home were Mr. and Mrs. Woodruff Cannon of St. George. Mrs. Cannon returned recently re-cently from California where she benefited greatly from medical treatment she received during her eight weeks stay in that state. Mr. and Mrs. Ira Bradshaw and three children and Evans Woodbury Wood-bury spent the week-end at the I home of Mrs. Bradshaw's and Mr. Woobury's parents, Mr. and Mrs. I William E. Woodbury. I Mrs. Garth Sandberg and Mrs. Errol Woodbury entertained Sunday Sun-day evening at the Sandberg home in honor of Leo Reeve, who left recently for the L.D.S. mission field in Canada. The following fol-lowing guests, Mr. and Mrs. Caiiyle Sullivan. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Tobler. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Reeve. Miss Verlene Walker and j Leone Sullivan spent a happy evening playing Rook. Mrs. Amelia Ileaton and Mrs. IVerda Woodbury entertained the Hurricane ladies literary club on j Wednesday afternoon at Mrs. Heaton's home. "They Love Roosevelt" by Richard L. Neubor-ger. Neubor-ger. a current article from the Forum magazine, reviewed by Katharine Larson, furnished plenty of controversial material for the members during the afternoon. after-noon. Hirschi and Mr. j and Mrs. John T. Hall attended funeral services for Mrs. Flanigan Sunday afternoon at Virgin. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Jolley of Zion Park were the dinner guests j of Dr. and Mrs. Clark Mclntire on j Monday.
