Show Ladies Night, Feature Of C. of C. Banquet On Friday, May 1st "Ladies Night," will be the feature of the Chamber of Commerce Com-merce meeting held Friday night in the Standard Cafe banquet room. The banquet and program pro-gram will be given under the direction dir-ection of the Lions club with the Rotary club joining the two other organizations. Thomas P. Wilson. Rotary guest speaker, who was to have talked' to Rotary club members at their regular Friday noon luncheon, will speak on the sub-j sub-j e c t, "History of the South West." According to informal tion received here, Mr. Wilson is an able speaker and will present an interesting subject to those who attend. The program has been tentatively tenta-tively arranged by Maurice Miles, program director of the chamber, cham-ber, and Lions club members. Discussion of the 75th Homecoming Home-coming anniversary plans by the chairman of this group. Vocal Solo, by Kenneth Judd. Discourse by Thomas P. Wilson, Wil-son, "History of the South West." Instrumental music, E. J. Bleak. Discussion of the Lions' amphitheater, amphi-theater, b3' D. Elden Berk. Community singing, led by Dilworth Dil-worth Snow. "Plans to Stop Tourists l,i fat. George," a talk by J. R. Lauril-zen. Lauril-zen. Open forum. Lions club members, Rotary and Chamber of Commerce members mem-bers and their partners are invited invit-ed to attend this meeting which will be the second of this type to be held by these clubs under the auspices of the chamber of commerce. com-merce.
