Following is the proclamation issued by the state board of' health: j TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: WHEREAS two dogs in this County have been proven to have died of rabies by examination by the Utah State Board of Health laboratory, and WHEREAS several other dogs have died of suspicious signs of rabies and .several others are now suffering with the disease, and WHEREAS many people have been bitten by these dogs, It is, therefore, recommended by the State Board of Health that all dogs in the County of Washington Wash-ington and in all cities of said County should either be vaccinated vaccinat-ed for rabies or should be disposed dis-posed of. It is also recommended that all dogs vaccinated should remain tied up for at least fifteen (15l days after receiving the vaccine. vac-cine. All people who have been bitten within the last two (21 months by a dog which has since died or is sick or shows any signs of illness should consult their physician immediately and take the preventative treatment for rabies.
