Show Pine Valley Mrs. E. S. Beckstrom Reporter The annual meeting of the Pine Valley Stockmen's association was held here on Tuesday. Supervisor Super-visor Bettenson. Ranger Baldwin. Royal Hunt of Central and Kumen Gardner of New Castle were in attendance. Mr. Gardner reports that his wife has just returned from the Iron county hospital with an infant in-fant son. It is their first child. E. S. Gardner and son. Dean, Orson Hall and son, Julian, Rex Gardner, Frank and Ilaf Jacob-son, Jacob-son, Levi and Bruce Snow, all spent Thanksgiving in St. George with their respective families. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn E. Snow of St. George and Mrs. Henry Jones and some members of her family of Cedar City spent Thanksgiving here with their father. Reuben Gardner. LaGrande Bowler of Gunlock was a business visitor here on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Clawson Burgess spent Thanksgiving in St. George with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Judd. Mrs. Effie Snow expects to leave on Thursday for Southern California where she will spend part of the winter with her children. chil-dren. Dr. and Mrs. Rodney H. Snow of Santa Monira and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lockett of Long Beach. Mrs. Lockett was formerly Miss Virginia Snow. Mrs. Effie G. Beckstrom and Mrs. Elizabeth S. Beckstrom were business visitors in Veyo on Sunday. Sun-day. After nearly 10 years passing without a missionary leaving our ward, we are happy to report that two are going from here soon. Malin Cox of our Bishopric, and Dean Gardner, son of Bp. and Mrs. E. S. Gardner will both enter the mission home in Salt Lake City on January 3. Mr. Cox will go to the central stall's and Mr. Gardner to the north central states mission. |
