Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS Office of State Engineer Salt Lake City, Utah, January 24, Notice is hereby given that the US Bureau of Reclamation, Salt Lake City, Utah has made Application Appli-cation in accordance with the. laws of Utah to appropriate 4,000 ac. ft of water from the Right fork of North creek, a tributary of Virgin river, in Washington countv, Utah. Said water will be stored from January 1 to December Decem-ber 31, inclusive, of each year by means of an impounding dam constructed con-structed across the channel of said Right fork of North creek, as a point located W. 1700 ft. and S. ?00 ft. from the NE comer Sec. 34, T. 40 S.. R. 11 V."., SLB&M. The resen-oir thus formed will have a capacity of 2500 ac. ft. and will be filled more than once each year. The stored water will be released re-leased as needed from February 1 to December 15, inclusive, of each year and allowed to flow in the channel of Right fork of Nor'.h creek to North creek, from which part of the water will be rediverted redivert-ed into the North creek canal at a point located S. 36 deg W. 2904 ft. from the NE comer Sec. 12, T. 41 S., R. 12 W., SLB&M., and into the Virgin Town ditch and the Humphries ditch at a point located S. 1650 ft. and west 990 ft from the NE comer Sec. 23, T. 41 S., R. 12 W. The balance of said released storage will flow naturally Into the Virgin river from which it will be rediverted into canals at points as follows: (1) Hurricane canal, S. 15 deg. E. 1217 ft. from NW comer Sec. 29, T. 41 S., R. 12 W.; (2) LaVerkin Bench canal S. 54 ft. and E. 515 ft from the S Vi comer Sec. 19, T. 41 S., R. 12 W.; (3) St George and Washington canal. S. 1150 ft and E. 350 ft. from the W'i corner cor-ner Sec. 21, T. 42 S., R. 14 W.; (4) Bloomington canal S. 21 deg. W. 1SS0 ft from the E'i comer Sec. 31. T. 42 S.. R. 15 W., all from SLB&M. After being rediverted redi-verted as hereinbefore described, the water will be used as a supplement sup-plement supply to irrigate 10. 000 acres of land, embraced in parts of Sees. 23, 24. 25, 26, 33, 34. 35. T. 41 S.. R. 13 W.; Sees. 19 and 20, T. 42 S., R. 14 W.; Sees. 23. 24. 25, 26, 27. 31. 32. 33. 34 and 35. T. 42 S.. R. 15 W.; Sees. 2, 3. 4, and 10. T. 42 S., R. 13 W.: Sees. 12, 13. 14. 22 and 23, T. 43 S., R. 16 V.; Sees. 2, 3, 5. 8. 9. 10, 11, 12, 13. 14. 16 and 23. T. 43 S.. R. 15 W.; Sees. 12. 22. 23. 25. 26 and 27, T. 41 S.. R. 12 W.; Sees. 15, 16. 17, 20 and 21. T. 42 S.. R- 13 W.; Sees. 11. 12, 13. 14. 15. 21, 22. 23. 24. 29. 30. 31 and 32. T. 42 S.. R. 14 W.; Sees. 5. 6. 7, S. 16. 17. IS. 21. 27. 2S and 29. T. 43 S.. R. 14 W., all with reference refer-ence to SLB&M. This Application is designated in the office of the State Engineer as No. 12572. All protests resisting the granting grant-ing of said Application, with reasons rea-sons therefor, made in affidavit form, must be filed with T. H. Humpherys. State Engineer.
