Show Elementary School News Miss Foremaster's Grade We have a broadcasting station in our room. It is station E.F.G. We are j broadcasting the stories of early j discoverers of America. : We are having fun making ; valentines. We have a valentine j border. Jane Mosley is a new student in our room .She has been to Kentucky Ken-tucky and is able to tell us many things about the places we are studying about. Sirs. Bradford's Third Grade We are studying about wild animals. ani-mals. They are very interesting. I We have books with pictures of j the animals that helps us to enjoy our reading about them. We had a review of spelling words we have had for five weeks. Those students getting 100 per cent in this test are: Velda Leany, Iona Harper, Ruth Long, Ethel Bleak, Esther Judd, Norlene De-Swann, De-Swann, Ellen Raye Cottam, Don ; Hewitt, Donald Holt and Fewimin Sullivan. Miss Seegmiller's Fifth Grade Last week we had a spelling test j of 100 words. There were fifteen who had perfect papers. They are: Enid McArthur, Herbert Bentley, j Loraine' Milne, Betty Lou Moss, Junior McGregor, Bobby Cannon, Darrell Smith, Shirley Nazer, I Sarlene Snow, Lloyd Iverson, Shirl ! Bunting, Gaye Graff, Albert Bur-j gess, Erlene Church and Erma I Woodbury. I Our class elected a committee to make our valentine box. The ' committtee elected as chairman Gaye Graff. Other members are Sharlene Snow, Betty Lou Moss Jack Mathis, Alvin Hardy and Bobby Covington. Miss Winsor sent us a spelling test consisting of words we hac not studied. Junior McGregor was the only one with a perfect paper Miss Foremaster is helping us make some lovely valentines. W have hung them up in the roorr and are very proud of them. |
