They axe old-time residents of Washington, having left forty-three forty-three years ago for Arizona. They will take in the Homecoming Home-coming at St. George while here. Mr. and Mrs. Earl White and family of San Diego, California are visiting for a short time with Mrs. White's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Neilson, Sr. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Staheli returned from Winnemucca, Nevada Nev-ada after visiting their children for a week. Their daughter, Mrs. George W i 1 k i n s accompanied them home. Antone Nissou and McKay Neilson and the Misses Cornelia Ashby and Ada Hafen made a trip to Grand Canyon on Saturday. Satur-day. Mr, and Mrs. James Tegan who recently moved to Burley, Idaho have returned to get their cattle and horses. They have bought an eighty-acre farm at Burley. Ac-cordng Ac-cordng to Mr. Tegan a good many people from the drouth stricken states are flocking into Idaho seeking farms. Mrs. Ben Holland and two children of Arkansas arrived here last week to join her husband who has been working here for ; the past year. i Mr. and Mrs. Roland Thayne j of California are spending a ' week or so here with relatives. Ralph Wilkins and Earl White were speakers in our Sunday j services. I Mr. and Mrs. Archie Tobler ' left for LOs Angeles, California i Friday evening after material ;and fixtures to finish their new gas station. Mrs. Annie Thurston, who has ( been ill for some time, is re- ported to be in quite a serious condition. NEW HARMONY MRS. LESLIE PACE Reporter About ninety members of the Cedar City and St. GeoTge Rotary Ro-tary clubs were entertained at a chicken supper here Saturday 'evening. A program and dance were given after the supper. I A town chicken supper was enjoyed en-joyed on Sunday, August 23. Mrs. Beth Schmutz is leaving for St. George Tuesday to attend the teachers' institute. Horaace Hall returned home for a short visit from Ogden. He was accompanied back to Ogden by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hall. .Mr. and Mrs. Dean Hall of Pioche spent two days here last week. Mrs. Dee Stapley and children of Beaver are here visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Prince. .Mrs. Beuiah Cottam and children child-ren of St. George are visiting her mother, Mrs. Lurene Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Williams, Jr., and children of Cedar spent Monday visiting with Mrs. Wil-iams Wil-iams parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henr' A. Pace. The following attended stake conference in Parowan Sunday: Mrs. Roy Grant, MT. and Mrs. Orson Hammond, Mrs. George F. Prince and Tom Pearce. Mrs. Clarence Webb returned to her home in St. George Monday Mon-day after spending the summer here. Miss Fern Prince has gone to St. George where she has employment. em-ployment.
