Show LEANY REUNION HELD AT DR. WILFORD C. COX HOME IX THIS CITY The decendants of Wm. and Isaac Leany held their annual reunion re-union at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Wilford C. Cox Wednesday, August 26, in honor of the 84th birthday anniversary of Hyrum Leany, president of the organization. organ-ization. An all-day session waB held with a "Dixie Fruit Festival" Festi-val" in the evening. EiKlity-three decendants of these twin brothers were in attendance, according to Mrs. Elva Black, reporter re-porter for the organization. The out-of-town guests were as follows: fol-lows: Mrs. David Leany age 80; W!m. Leany and two sons of Clifton, Clif-ton, Arizona; Mr. and Mrs. El-wood El-wood Leany and two children Of Pocatello, Idaho; Mrs. Agnes L. Wood of Brigham City; Mr. and Mrs. Elva B. Black and three daughters of Salt Lake City; First Vice-president George C. Leany and wife and ten children of Springville, Utah; Mr. and Mrs. Francis S. Leany and five children of Cedar City; Mr. and MJrs. Edward McMullin and four children; Mr. and Mrs. David Stirling and seven children; Lizzie McQuade of Leeds; Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Leany and four children child-ren of Hurricane; and Martha Fleming of Overton. Nevada. It was voted to hold the next meeting in Salt Lake City, the exact date to be announced later. |
