Show Branch Family Holds Reunion In Zion Park More than 80 descendants of the late William H. Branch, Dixie pioneer, assembled in Zion Park Sunday evening and after camping the night, spent the entire day, Monday, in a family reunion. Relatives Rela-tives attending came from various parts of Carbon county, from Monroe, Utah and from Enterprise, Enter-prise, Modena and St. George. Thomas Lund of Modena was master mas-ter of ceremonies. After a camp breakfast the forenoon fore-noon was spent in visiting and playground activities. The regular (Continued on page five) Branch Family Reunion (Continued from first page) program included community singing of "High On The Mountain Top" and "We Thank Thee' O, God, For a Prophet", favorite L.D.S. hymns of William H. Branch. Prayer was by William Lund of Enterprise. Reports from family lines were made by Ezra Branch of Price for the Eugene Branch family; Charles White, of Monroe for the Henry Branch family; George Brooks of St. George for the Cornelia Branch Brooks line, and Thomas Lund, of Modena for the Rozilla Branch Lund line. Their reports showed 116, 44, 109 and 32 living descendants, descend-ants, respectively, and with the 52 from the other lines, showed a total of 353 living. |
