Show Tcquervilk Sirs. Rowena Slack Reporter Thursday night the school presented the cantata "The Poor Little Rich GirL" This was under the direction of our teachers, Mr. Barber and Miss Heaton. It was very successful. Mr. and Mrs. George Bring-hurst Bring-hurst left Friday to spend Xmas with Mrs. Bringhurst's parents, at Bear Lake, Utah. Students home for the Christmas Christ-mas holidays are Kenneth Slack, Corris Jackson, Elizabeth Bring-hurst, Bring-hurst, Wilma Kleinman. Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Slack spent Chrismas in Kannarrah. Mrs. Katherine Thurston of Salt Lake City spent Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. K. Slack. A Christmas program was presented pre-sented in our Sunday school and also in sacrament meeting. Mr. and Mrs. William Pate and two children of Redlands, Calif, spent Christmas with their daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Esbert Batty. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Berg-strom Berg-strom of Cedar City spent Christmas Christ-mas at the home of Mrs. Berg-strom's Berg-strom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Johnson. Monday night the P.-T.A. held a dance. June Bringhurst left Tuesday for northern Utah where he has employment. Mr. and Mrs. George W. Worthen of St. George and Mr. and Mrs. James Peterson and children of Cedar Valley spent Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Slack. Miss Wanda Anderson and Miss Pharol Slack, who have employment employ-ment in Cedar City spent Christmas Christ-mas day here visiting. A large number of our people attended the funeral of . David Hirschi. He was a great friend of the community and we mourn his death. Our heartfelt sympathy sym-pathy is extended to his family. |
