Show St. George CCC Camp Christmas Day brought another feast to the members of the company. The cooks, bakers and (Every one connected with the kitchen worked overtime to turn out an outstanding example of the culinary art. The following menu was served to 140 members and 20 guests at 3 p.m. on Christmas Day: Celery, radishes, green and ripe olives, roast turkey, oyster dressing, giblet gravy, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, candied yams, buttered peas, waldorf salad, mince pin, fruit cake, ice cream, assorted fresh fruits, coffee, cof-fee, candy and nuts, cigars and cigarettes. Roy Wright and family are spending Ihe Christmas holidays visiting with relatives and friends In Southern California. Mitchell Gerbiek is ill at the hospital in St. George. James Pecararo, assistant division divi-sion of grazing clerk, was called back to his home on Tuesday on account of the serious illness of his mother. Jimmy was one of our best soft ball pitchers last season and will be missed in all forms of athletics. Decorations in the mess hall, infirmary, reading room and camp store and a well lighted tree on the camp parade ground helped to provide the proper Christmas atmosphere during the past week. |
