Show Short Creek, Ariz. Mrs. I. W. Carling Reporter Miss LaRae Lauritzen. who has been attending school at Hollywood, Holly-wood, Calif., came home Friday. Jack Fish returned home last week after spending about two weeks in California. Mrs. Elva Carling was at Hurricane Hur-ricane for two weeks visiting with relatives, she returned Thursday. Warren and Leonard Black made a trip to Cedar City on Saturday. The Mothers club held their meeting on Friday. Mrs. LaVerne Pointer went to Cedar City Saturday. Wilma Black has gone to Cedar City where she has employment. May Johnson of Hurricane is here visiting relatives. Mrs. Genevieve Stubbs, who has been in California the past three or four months, returned home last week. Mr. Stubbs went with her. W. E. Johnson of Hurricane is out here now to work on the ditch. Millard Black made a trip out here last week from the CCC camp at Duncan, Ariz., where he is working. Leonard Black and Arnold Adair made a trip to Duncan, Ariz, about 10 days ago. There was no school held last Tuesday in the upper room as the . teacher, Chas. F. Hansen, went to Hurricane to consult the doctor. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Adair went to Cedar City Friday afternoon, after-noon, they went with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Perkins of Cane Beds. Mrs. Esther Adair was a Cane Beds visitor Thursday night. Mrs. Retta Cox of Cane Beds was a visitor at the home of Mrs. Elva Carling Friday. |
