Show HURRICANE Enterprise and Hurricane High played their league game of basketball bas-ketball here Friday night. Enterprise En-terprise won by a score of 3 6 to 35. The game was well attended. The F. F. A. gave a banquet Saturday evening in the high school auditorium with William Smith acting as toastmaster. Mrs. Paul Gates was hostess to the Alice Louise Reynolds club last Friday. Twenty-four members mem-bers were present. Mr. and Mrs. A. Noble Kimball were Cedar City visitors on Saturday. Satur-day. L. B. Bennett attended the Southern I'tah Teachers' convention conven-tion which was held in Cedar City on (Saturday. Homer Englestead has purchased purchas-ed a new 193 6 Ford V-8 from the Stevens Bros, garage. Mrs. Fenton Whitney is seriously ser-iously ill at this time. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Dalton gave a dinner for the school teachers teach-ers and partners on Monday evening ev-ening at the Dalton home. Hai iiradshaw is seriously ill at thrs time. |
